Tooth-Colour Fillings
What is a filling and where and why we do them?
Cavities, otherwise known as tooth decay, are permanently damaged areas on the hard surface of teeth that develop into holes. They can occur when there is a build-up of bacteria in your mouth, often caused by regularly consuming sugary food and drinks or improper brushing.
Your dentist may recommend a filling if you have a damaged or decayed tooth. A filling can restore the shape and function of your tooth, while preventing further damage.
At Bundall Dental And Implants we only use tooth-colour (non-mercury) filling or restorative materials, being a new filling or a replacement for an existing filling.
